Redding, CT — Finished Basement

We took an unfinished basement with a significant amount of exposed duct-work and plumbing pipes and turned it into an 800 sq. ft. finished space. We carefully planned our soffit heights to make the ceiling look as intentional as possible and not like it was done as an afterthought, and added a custom bar space with a hidden door to access a sump pump.

The walls were insulated, we tied into the duct-work to condition the space, and we added plentiful recessed lights to make the space comfortable year round. Carpet was added with a thick pad for added comfort.
